Cycling For Peace

January 20, On the occasion of Martyrs day. We organized a Cycling program. In support from HWPL and IPYG, we successfully conducted a program in which we have total 72 participants. The event named as “Cycling For Peace”  was stared from Hallnchowk around 9 am and ended at same place at 10:30. We travel Prithivi chowk, Shahid Park, Lakeside measuring about 10 KM distance.

We reached Martyr’s Park at 9:44 am. And gathered inside the Park where President Rajan Panthi and Member Kimal Bisowkarma shared their opinion about Martyrs and Martyrs days. We talked about peace keeping ideas and also collected the signatures of the participants. A minute of silence was observed around at 10:12 AM.

The program was filled with all of positivity. With the premission from Chief District Office and District Poilce Office. We were helped by Police to control the traffic on our route. Total of seventy two, we formed two rows.  Three groups each with twenty four riders maintained a certain distance. The two front riders were holding a banner from  each group. Overall the event was very well managed and was much successful from the support from all around.
