Peace Walkathon

In Nepal, on May 25th, two youth organizations International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) and WE CAN GROUP jointly held a Peace Walkathon with all Samata school students in Pokhara. Despite the rainy weather, about 450 students with a longing for peace started the event by reciting the peace letter with one voice and proceeded with a peace walk around the school grounds. Co-hosts are planning to hold this regularly in Nepal that can be held every year, rather than ending it as a one-day event. “HWPL is truly working for peace and I can feel how much they care and love students while preparing for the peace walk event together.” - Jhalak Prasad Sharma, Prinicipal of Samata Niketan school
